Philadelphia Indie Punk group Dinosaur Diner have finally graced us with their debut Self Titled Ep, "Dinosaur Diner". Dinosaur Diner has become known for their energetic and vibrant presence. Dinosaur Diner stands out in a dull Indie Punk scene for a handful of reasons that go hand in hand with why this Ep is so important for not only the band but for the scene itself. The Ep is Bright, Upbeat, Inspiring, and does everything it possible can to put a smile on your face while listening. This is a rare occurrence in an age where DIY music goes out of it's way to be depressing and edgy for the sake of college kids and hipsters being able to relate to almost randomly generated Emo-Pop. Dinosaur Diner is calculated happiness in the same sense that Modern Baseball was Calculated Emotion. The Composition of every track on this Debut Ep is a sign that Dinosaur Diner not only knows HOW to write music with consistent tone and expression but that they (Dinosaur Diner) as musicians absolutely understand what makes a song enjoyable to listen to. While the Ep itself is rather short, it's an absolute great source for repeat listening as well as something we can see people listening to frequently in their daily lives. This is a game changing Ep, an Debut Ep that breaks the mold of Indie-Punk. With Uplifting and Bright Instrumentals accompanied by soothing and raw vocals. It's compassionate and the music equivalent of everything you'd want in a best friend. Dinosaur Diner has without a doubt put out a banger, an outstanding Indie-Punk Release in an age where Indie-Punk is almost pre-fired as Emotionally Emotionless Boring Non-Sense. Dinosaur Diner is exciting, Friendly, Warm, and absolutely worth your time.
