Released Late October of 2016, "Touron" is the first major release from Delaware Hard-Twinkle group, Touron. The album is home to many of the quirks that made Midwest-Emo a force to be reckoned with, from it's raw biting vocals to the pounding drum fills, "Touron" is an experience best had while you reflect on everything that went wrong in your youth. Every track has a layer of energetic sadness that cuddles your soul in such a nostalgic and comforting way. It's such a familiar sounding record with subtle amounts of influence, however this doesn't mean the record is in any way unoriginal, in fact Touron managed to release one of the better records of 2016 and it's a shame that we're just now getting around to talking about it. "Touron" demonstrates a sincere care for the composition of music. With strong taste of Math influence, Touron gives listeners a juicy and filling meal with each track. It's a very easy record to listen to on loop, which leads to the sad realization that it's a little to short. Coming in at just around 20 minutes (or a full Overwatch Match), Touron borderline teases us, makes us want more of the freshness. It puts everyone in full anticipation of what more the band has to offer. Overall, Touron put out an incredible contribution to the world of music.
