If there's one thing we love, it's Bedroom Lofi, which is exactly what Trendy Dog With Sunglasses does best. With vibes of Dream Pop and Emo Pop, TDWS is a quirky and memorizing experience. "We Appreciate" is a Lofi competitor to acts like TTNG and Tigers Jaw, fusing bits and pieces of so many genres that cook evenly in the Lofi Stew. "We Appreciate" is one of the best written Lofi releases this year. The record is home to 7 of the most personal emotion I've ever felt come from a Lofi release. Lyrically, "We Appreciate" is on par with many of the "Emo-Revival" set piece bands, with down to earth and relatable lyrics . The record manages to give listeners a sense of joy and Nostalgia, like an eerily happy dream. Each Track just feels like a different dream, like you can lay in bed with headphones on and let the fan breeze over you while the music takes you to wherever your subconscious wants to be. "We Appreciate" is a Lofi Must Listen of 2017, do NOT avoid this release. Trendy Dog with Sunglasses set the bar for Bedroom Pop - Lofi for 2017, and "We Appreciate" is without a doubt a record we'll be looking back on throughout the year.
