Philly Indie Rock group Sunchocke just released a pretty solid two track EP titled "Distractions". The Two Track EP is a home for positive energy and a really solid listen for anyone who has 10 minutes to donate to an incredible band. Sunchoke opens up the two tracks with a fast and exciting pop jam titled "Keeping up with the Times". The track alone is a fantastic listen, putting a twist on Indie Rock and Midwest Emo, with Headbanging tapping and up tempo strums. The second track, " Pinhole Projector " is a bit of a slow down. A more relaxing tune with it's own fair share of dancy bits. The track certainly isn't as gripping as the opening, but it's still a track worthy of being on a two track EP. "Distractions" is an excellent ep, even though it's two tracks. It's a good example of the "ep's should be a handful of tracks" myth/mentality. It's one of the great short track EPs we've heard.
